ABOUT Wauna Tractor Service

Wauna Tractor Service has been a fixture in Gig Harbor for over 20 years, and is owned and operated by Bill Winchester, a native of Gig Harbor.

Bill’s family moved to Gig Harbor over 35 years ago. He graduated from Peninsula High School, and has worked his entire career in Gig Harbor. Because of this, Bill knows Gig Harbor and the land very personally.

When he first started, it was with a small green John Deere backhoe, an old baby blue ramp truck and a Golden Retriever named Butch.

Now some twenty years later, Wauna Tractor Service of Gig Harbor has two big dump trucks, a 6 yard Freightliner, and a 10 yard Kenworth. The John Deere has long ago been put out to pasture and a Hitachi EX-60 Excavator, and JCB 210s Backhoe, are now in service.

Bill's reputation precedes him. He is very serious about his work, however, Bill provides a personal and professional service, as any of his clients will tell you. But don't just take our word for it, ask our clients.
